Dr. Harry Manifavas is a Senior Research Collaborator at ICS-FORTH, specializing in cybersecurity, cybercrime, and digital forensics. With over twenty-five years of experience in the network and information security field, he has held positions in the public and private sectors as well as in academia. Dr. Manifavas holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Kent, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Crete. His professional experience includes roles such as Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge, Security Engineer at Barclays Capital, and External Collaborator with ENISA. Since 2011, he has acted as a technical coordinator and senior security engineer in numerous EU-funded research projects focusing on cybersecurity challenges and has served as an evaluator of EU research proposals. Dr. Manifavas has also lectured on various cybersecurity topics at several universities across three countries and supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate theses. He is the author or co-author of over 60 research papers and has obtained several professional certifications.
